Doctors and the Palestinian Red Crescent working at the Al-Quds Hospital in northern Gaza said earlier on Sunday that they had been told by the Israeli military to evacuate immediately.
In southern Gaza, Nasser Medical Hospital has been struggling with supplies of food, electricity and medication.
