Jordan has air dropped urgent medical and pharmaceutical aid to the Jordanian field hospital in the Gaza Strip.
King Abdullah of Jordan tweeted “we will always be there for our Palestinian brethren.”
There have been widespread calls for a humanitarian ceasefire to allow more aid into the Gaza strip. Aid agencies say Gazans urgently need supplies of food, water and medicine.
Israel launched an air and ground offensive after Hamas killed 1,400 people and kidnapped more than 200 on 7 October.
