Gaza has faced a month of intense Israeli bombardment, killing thousands of Palestinians and leaving 1.4 million people displaced, according to the Hamas-run Palestinian health authority.
It follows a 7 October Hamas attack in Israel, which killed more than 1,400.
In the past month, the BBC World Service has been following the lives of people in Gaza who have been sharing their video diaries and voice notes with us.
This video follows two of them – Farida, an English teacher, and Khalid, a medical supplier.
